At the start of 2015, Char Tedrick joined the Dolls Kill team to create a new in-house design and development department, putting into place processes and procedures that would ultimately take the company to a whole new level. Single-handedly, she established the entire product lifecycle for 3 unique in-house brands, bringing vendor relationships to the table, creating unique brand ID and packaging, and taking concept from design to development, through production to final product. By her exit in late 2016, Char Tedrick had not only designed and produced more than 300 unique products from start to finish but had established a growing department ultimately becoming the best selling piece of the overall business.
As Associate Designer for Sanrio (home of Hello Kitty), Char Tedrick not only designed and developed products across all softlines categories, but was the point of contact overseeing over 30 licensees. Among her accomplishments with the global brand were collaborative designs with Jeffrey Campbell, T.U.K Shoes, Minnetonka, and Ju-Ju-Be.
In 2011, Char Tedrick joined the team at Betsey Johnson in New York City, and with previous background in knits and graphics, single-handedly started an entirely new graphic tops category. With experience in cut and sew knits and product development, she took an untapped opportunity and tripled sales in the tee shirt category from the prior year, handling every step of design and product development.

In 2010, Char Tedrick was presented with the opportunity to start a new activewear lifestyle brand in association with popular roller-skate niche company Moxi Rollerskates. Char single-handedly created a full cut and sew apparel brand, complete with tops, bottoms, outerwear and graphic representation. Handling all aspects of brand development, Char took each piece from concept through development, to bulk production and final product.
As Designer at Steady Clothing, Char Tedrick designed and developed across several product categories including womens, mens, kids, lounge and licensed apparel lines.
